Evaluation

For the project i had to create my own blog page using eblogger. To start me off i had to firstly pick a nice layout and tittle for my blog. I have chosen my own name for the tiitle of my blog because it is simple and it makes it clear for viewers. I then had to find 5 blogs that i found interesting and would enjoy looking at and follow them on eblogger. Then to make my blog look interesting i had to do regular blogs throughout the weeks on this project. I found it difficult at first beacuse i have never used eblogger before but then found the right techniques to make a blog. I really enjoyed this project i have never done a blog before and i think i will keep adding to it. If i could improve my blog i would have added more posts and added some work of my own. I think i gave 100% dedication to this project and think it went well. I think if i could improve anything it would be my time keeping.

Independent Blogging..

I think this cd cover is really interesting, i think this is also a Photomontage. They have used images to build the picture up. I think they have used the right choice of colours and i also think the type is effective. If i saw this cd i would buy it just beacuse i think the picture catches my attention but if i had never heard this cd before i wouldn't have a clue what it was about because the picture gives nothing away it just makes you want to listen.

Lord of the rings, Photomontage

I have recently had to create my own Photomontage using Photopshop. This is an example of a 'Lord of the rings' Photomontage. I think this Photomontage is effective because all of the characters are the centre of the page and the tittle is at the top were the space is. My eye goes straight to the middle of the page beacuse all the attention is there. The only thing i think this Photomontage lacks is some bright colour but i suppose these colours and the dullness is the theme of 'Lord of the rings'.

University of derby

''Over the years, two dozen bodies have contributed to the university's formation. The first of these was founded in 1851 as the Derby Diocesan Institution for the Training of Schoolmistresses. Albeit under different names so to reflect maturing objectives, the institution flourished as an individual entity for some 120 years before merging with another developing educational artery to help form what was then known as the Derby Lonsdale College of Higher Education, 1977.
The other line of this confluence began in 1853 with the establishment of the Derby School of Art, which in 1870 became the Derby Central School of Art and the Derby Central School of Science. In 1885, the two schools were reformulated into the Derby School of Art and Technical Institution. Less than a decade later however, 1892, three more mergers took place and the institution became the Derby Municipal Technical College.''

      Picture House

      Jeffrey Moss, a film maker
'I travel all the time, so my home has to be a place of calm, somewhere I can spend time just to burrow in, get cosy and gather myself'

'It feels like we're always talking about what's new. Old photos help me look at the past and see that the people back then weren't so different from us today.'

Jeffery moss is a film maker who like to travel alot he works for big-name American clients. The first thing you notice about this house other than the enviably large rooms, high ceilings and wooden floors are montages of old photographs.  He hopes ' People walk in and get stuck in front of the wall' some of the stories that are captured by the pictures and watched her cynicism melt away. ' The stories, though have to be made up, as Jeffrey doesn't know who any of the people are.' They're part of a collection he started years ago- none taken later than about 1963. ' Filling the space has been like working on an art project.'
